Mt Wellington

MtWellingtonpage

When I arrive in a new city or town I want to get a feel for the place. It is often difficult, but in Hobart we headed straight from the airport to Mt Wellington. At a height of 1270 metres above sea level and only 10 minutes from the city, it is the best possible place to start your holiday. I will warn it can be chilly at that height and it is a windy road to get to the summit but dress warmly and I promise you will be taken back by the panoramic views of Hobart and the Tasman Peninsula. Visiting Mt Wellington made me even more excited for what we would see for the rest of our holiday.

Wheelchair accessible parking is available and the paths are also accessible.
