I love to shop so I was keen to get to this market I had seen on television so many times. The market is expansive and needs lots of time. We were heading to the MONA so I only had time to get the feel of the market. I could have spent hours. The market covers two street blocks and the stalls have a variety of goods for sale. I loved the look of the Tasmanian products, fresh food, handcrafts and I would have enjoyed more time to fossick through the antiques.
Salamanca Market is open every Saturday and is wheelchair accessible with nearby accessible bathrooms in Salamanca Place.
